With all the recent excitement about going back to having a new movie and toys from the much beloved Beast Wars line, here's the next iconic Transformers ship! Introducing the Axalon - which crash landed on Earth with our stalwart band of heroic Maximals back in the day!
Two transwarp engines feature prominently on the sides of the Axalon and are designed to be 3d printed separately before getting glued onto the main body of the ship. The skirts were designed to have very thin bits between the fins which can be left as it is, if you like a continuous skirt, or (like in our case) trimmed to have separate fins.
This model uses the base as earlier pieces in the iconic ships line, and attaches to a form fitted stand piece using two 3mm pegs/rods. Due to it structure, the Axalon's display stand and base will need to be glued together to provide a large base for best stability.
